Walking distance from the shores of Lake Michigan, the hotel is also adjacent to the corporate headquarters of Northwestern Mutual and Johnson Controls.

The development involves the adaptive reuse of a 1920's-era office building to be a SpringHill Suites by Marriott. The hotel is the only all-suites hotel connected via skywalk to the Wisconsin Convention Center, located directly across 4th Street. The Hotel includes 190 guestrooms located in a dynamic structure above Empire Outlets, a destination shopping and entertainment center. The hotel has expansive views of New York harbor and the Manhattan skyline. It is located steps from the Staten Island ferry terminal and the New York Wheel, a giant Ferris wheel.

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants entered the Milwaukee market with the management of a new hotel in the city’s Historic Third Ward district.  The 158-room boutique hotel features an eight-story building housing a chef-driven, destination restaurant on the ground floor, plus a rooftop bar, fitness center and expansive meeting space.
